Field Medical Advisor , Philippines
The Medical Advisor (MA) is appointed by OMF to provide internal occupational health service to members in the Philippines. The MA provides advice and preventive health care, to enable members to serve as effectively as possible.

To Do What?
The Field Medical Advisor serves as a member of the international MA team, which is led by the International MA. This involves liaising with OMF MAs and Directors worldwide, ongoing training, and attendence at conferences.
There are also opportunities to be involved in ministry to Filipinos: partnering with NGOs, or other mission agencies, and working alongside other medical personnel, such as in urban poor communities, in keeping with the Philippines field vision of partnering with others to establish and equip communities of believers.
The Philippines Field Medical Advisor would care for around 80 OMF members located on 5 different islands, but would be based in Manila.
Whats Required?
This position requires a medical doctor/fully qualified physician with appropriate post-graduate training and qualifications especially with an interest in primary care. Experience in adult and paediatric medicine is desirable and General/family Practice preferable, but not essential.
